The Book of Contradictions is the graphic novel of mine. It going to start on 1/03/13. Follow the link and add it to your favorites in order not to miss the beginning!

This is a portrait of the main character of my novel Kuroi-Abbekka.

As a lot of people keep up taking him for a girl, because of his long black hair, I've come up with an idea to draw him with a male haircut. He isn't going to look like this in a book ever, it's just a doodle… :D

It was very funny to draw such a thing. My own character seems to be a half-stranger to me, I recognize all his facial traits, though… Very wired.

Drawn from the last portrait of him.

This is so weird :wow: I can't imagine how weird it would have been for you to draw him like that if it's weird just for your viewers to see him like it :iconmindfuckplz: lol. I hate it when people mistake men for girls when they look NOTHING LIKE GIRLS. I understand it if they're incredibly feminine, but I find the only thing that's feminine about him is the long hair. He still looks like a guy :wtf: lmao.

Oh... even I can can't tell you how wired it was... It's still wired... But it's also very funny! :D I guess my poor watchers even can't get whose picture it is by the preview in the messages... :D I guess I've never drawn anyone with such a haircut!
And I don't like it too... meaning I more... can't get why do people get mistaken nowadays, while there are no limits of self-expression. It's not that unusual to see a guy with hair that long. Plus we have movies and fashion industry, where cases like this seems to be kinda normal. :D
And I'm so happy to hear that believed that he looks like a man from the very beginning. :')

I'll admit I didn't know it was Kuroi at first. I was like, 'that profile is so similar to the last one' then I saw the preview image and was like ':icondramaticplz: I knew it...'
I know, there aren't many manly man (try saying that 10 times fast :P) these days in all honesty, a lot of them are very feminised in many ways, but then people on here are acting as if they have to be ripped, covered in tattoos and hairy to be immediately distinguished as men :wtf:
I mean, unless you have a male character that resembles Andrej Pejic I think you're fine :XD:

:DDD I didn't know about Andrej Pejic, before you told me... wow! This dude is... million times more beautiful than I am. Hate him! :D May be it depends on the country as well. In mine for instance, there is almost a crime for guy to have a feminine look. People would say that he is nuts and is not respect-worty. In Canada, on the other hand, there are a lot of men who even use a mascara and have handsome and well-kept hair style. At first I even thought that they are gays or smth (I don't mind this thing, though)- so unusual it was for me, but no. It's a huge question to discuss actually. I had a chat with one fantastic guy. He is an androgyne and, as a person, able to act like both a man and a woman, he believes that there are more inner than outward differences between genders. And I think he's right.

I only found out about him when he came here to Australia for an event a little while ago, and I had to google his name to find out whether he was a guy or a girl :P Funny but true story, today I was cooking, and my brother was sitting at the table eating everything I was cooking  and I had music blasting on the TV. This one song came on and I looked at him and said, 'I seriously can't tell whether that's a chick or a dude singing.' So he went and checked, came back in absolute hysterics, and managed to blurt out 'It's Justin Beiber!' ... :O_o: ^^; lmao!!
That used to be very true for here too, if a guy wasn't manly he was gay or insane. Now though, I don't think there's a 100% manly man in my generation. They all walk around in tank top things or skinny jeans, and they dye and straighten their hair. I think it's great that I'm living in a nation where men aren't judged by what they wear (if only that were as true for women, we wear a skirt or a tight dress and get called sluts and whores ) but I must admit, I miss the manly men :XD:
