It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Novel vs. Comic Book

Hello there, guys!



If you are following my art, you know, that I'm also a writer. But the truth is that I'm a Russian writer, so there are just my paintings and drawings that can be understood internationally.

But I desire to share my world with all of you, so I'm translating my novel into English now. Unfortunately it's taking a lot of time, as I have not to just translate the words, but to adapt the story for the language as well. Moreover, English is my second language, so I fear to make mistakes.

So I came up with an idea to draw a comic book instead. To convert the whole story into a comic, so that all of you can get it. But this is a big move… So, I'm seeking for your opinion, guys.

What would you like my story to be? A novel or a comic book?

How about a visual novel?
That way you could get both parts in. You would draw the more difficult untranslatable parts into art, and just practice your translations with the skills you have on the rest of the text =3
I would love to look at both either way!

Well, the story was a manga once. Long ago, when I was a very small lad. Than I've realized that it will reach their readers more likely if it's a novel. So I've made it a novel. So, thought, the story is a bit different from what it used to be, I still thing that it can become a comic again. ^_^ Thank you so much for your words, I'm happy that you like the style. It's interesting to me myself, how can I make do with just black and white! :D

By the way, 'lad' means 'boy'. I assume you meant 'lass', which is the female equivalent. ;)

Ups! No, I thought that "lad" could be used for kids of any gender. Something like "man", which is basically about males, but sometimes could be referred to females as well. Such a shame for me. :D Thank you so much for paying my attention. Sometimes I do not exactly translate words, if I understand the meaning from the context... but this is a tricky one. Thank you again. ^__^
